tools.roasexpert.com is run by ROAS Expert, an agentic SEO and growth marketing agency founded in 2019 by Rishabh Gupta. The audit exists because the first hour of every paid audit we run is the same twenty checks, so we automated them and gave them away.
When you submit a URL our server fetches the homepage, the http:// and www variants, robots.txt, llms.txt, the sitemap and one product or inner page chosen from the sitemap. The user agent is ROASExpertAudit/1.0. We never fetch more than eight URLs per audit, never follow links behind a login, and cap each page at 1.5 MB. Results for the same hostname are cached for ten minutes, and each visitor can run five audits every half hour.
Every check has a weight. Passing earns the full weight, a warning earns half, a failure earns nothing. Category scores are weighted 25% crawling and indexing, 20% on-page, 20% structured data, 20% AI search readiness and 15% speed signals. A homepage that is unreachable or blocked by bot protection scores 0. A homepage that is noindexed or blocked in robots.txt is capped at 35 whatever else is right, because nothing else matters until that is fixed. The full list of checks and weights is on the home page.
The three-paragraph summary is written by a language model from the findings only. It is checked before display: no numbers that are not in the findings, no hype words, and if it fails that check you get a plain rule-based summary instead.
Reports are stored for 90 days so the share link works. If you enter an email it goes to our CRM (HubSpot) with the report link, and we may send you one follow-up about the findings. No email, no follow-up. Write to rishabh@roasexpert.com to have a report deleted.
The audit is also a remote MCP server at https://tools.roasexpert.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, stateless, no authentication). It exposes five tools: audit_site runs an audit and returns the score, the platform, the category scores, the top three issues, the status of every check and the report link; unlock_report takes the report id and a work email and returns every failing or warning check with the platform fix plus the written summary (the same email gate as the site, one follow-up at most); get_report reads a stored report by id; list_checks returns the catalogue with weights; explain_fix returns the fix text for a check on a platform. The free plan allows three audits a day per client (the web limit of five per half hour applies too); the other tools are unlimited. The server is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.roasexpert.tools/seo-audit. Add it in Claude.ai under Settings, Connectors; in Claude Code with claude mcp add --transport http roas-audit https://tools.roasexpert.com/mcp; in ChatGPT under Settings, Connectors with developer mode on; in Cursor or VS Code with {"mcpServers":{"roas-audit":{"url":"https://tools.roasexpert.com/mcp"}}}. For a higher limit, email rishabh@roasexpert.com.
There is a JSON API: POST /api/audit with {"url": "example.com"}. The OpenAPI description is at /api/openapi. Please keep it under five requests per half hour per IP.
